FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Are you able to come to my house/marina to perform welding even if I do not have electric?

A: Yes, we are 100% mobile for all forms of welding and fabricating. We have generators to power all of our equipment.

Q: Do you do wiring also?

Yes, we can wire lights & electronics for an extra charge.

A: What is the difference between stainless steel and anodized aluminum?

The biggest difference: Price. Not only is stainless material more expensive, but there is much more labor involved with fabricating, welding, and polishing stainless steel compared to anodized aluminum. Stainless steel is a bit more esthetically appealing and holds up better to harsh weather environments with less maintenance. Anodized aluminum is a type of aluminum specifically for the marine industry and outdoor use. The anodized coating protects the raw aluminum from pitting and corroding over time. Anodized aluminum holds up well to marine environments as long as it is maintained and rinsed with fresh water.

Q: Do you have insurance?

Q: Will you travel out of state?

Q: What type of canvas do you use for your T-Tops?

A: We use the highest quality Stamoid Fabric for our canvas tops. Our standard tops use a “seamless” canvas design which is very eye catching and different then most tops you see on the market. We do not typically use the “lace” method for out tops, but of course if you prefer the “lace” we can absolutely make that happen.
